Since May 2024, I have been co-mentoring Ritvik Teegavarapu, then a sophomore at Caltech, in collaboration with Professor Franca Hoffmann.

Our project, titled "Towards Convergence Guarantees for Particle Swarm Optimization," explores theoretical aspects of swarm-based optimization algorithms. 

Ritvik recently received a poster award for this project at the 2025 Southern California Mathematics Symposium (SOCMAS). Congratulations to Ritvik on this well-deserved recognition! 

It's been a great pleasure to work with him, and I’ve learned a lot through this experience.
