Books are a quiet constant in my life — I read 2 to 3 books per month, mostly for pleasure, sometimes for perspective.
In 2024, I read 33 books: a mix of fiction and non-fiction across mystery, psychology, science, essays, and speculative fiction. Some were page-turners, some unfinished, but all became part of my year.
As of May, here are some of my favorites from this year, 2025 (all finished):
– The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoyevsky
– Stoner by John Williams
– Le Papillon des étoiles by Bernard Werber
– Laplace’s Witch, and 성녀의 구제 (Seijo no Kyūsai - 聖女の救済) by Keigo Higashino
– Fauster by Kim Ho-yeon
– 도련님 by Natsume Sōseki
– How to Stop Worrying and Start Living by Dale Carnegie
– 당신의 뇌는 최적화를 원한다 by Gavasawa Zion
